After launching last year in Charlotte, Fielding Homes has decided to enter the Raleigh market following its success in the Queen City. Fielding Homes is a single-family branch of parent company Crescent Communities and has big plans for the Triangle area.

Construction plans are already underway in the Raleigh-Durham area, as Fielding Homes is set to develop roughly 350 homes throughout several phases in Forest Ridge and Trinity Creek. The 100 home sites in Forest Ridge are currently under construction with prices starting in the mid-$300s, while the other 240 homes at Trinity Creek will be available for sale in early 2018.

Seeing immediate success in Charlotte, Fielding Homes is expecting to surpass their annual sales goals based on the first four months of sales activity in 2017. Currently, Fielding homes has two active Charlotte-area communities, as well as several others in Fort Mill and Lake Wylie in South Carolina.

Steven Francis, the division president of Fielding Homes said, “Fielding Homes’ success in Charlotte provides us with the early momentum needed to ensure Crescent’s new home building company is as successful as we envisioned it to be.”

On expanding to Raleigh, Francis said, ““Raleigh is one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation. We are confident in our expansion and enthusiastic about bringing new and distinctive products to the market.”

The forecast ranked the Raleigh-Cary market as 8th in the nation for home sales in 2017. The area also ranked No. 19 in BUILDER 2017’s Local Leaders list, which ranks the top 50 new-home markets by closings.
