A recent Forbes Magazine article named Raleigh, North Carolina the best place to raise a family in the United States. The article discussed how our community has both rebounded from the recent recession and the growing number of young families who are now relocating to the Raleigh area.
Raleigh has a strong vibrant economy. Single family home construction is continuing to bounce back which is a definite plus for young families interested in buying a home. While apartment living might be suitable for a baby or toddler, eventually parents are going to be thinking about increasing the family size, the quality of certain school districts and the importance of having that white picket fence and plenty of backyard space for the kids to play.
With an increase of over 63,000 school aged children over the past 13 years in the Raleigh area, statistics show that number is almost 10 times the national demographic increase for towns and communities of the same size.
