Holly Springs is one of the fastest-growing towns in North Carolina, thanks in part to its motto of Putting Families First by placing an emphasis on children. In 2013, Bloomberg Businessweek named the town as “The Best Place in North Carolina to Raise Kids”, while NerdWallet.com labeled Holly Springs as the “Best Place for Home Ownership in North Carolina” placed it on the top of the list for the “Best North Carolina Towns for Young Families.”
With access to some of Wake County’s latest and greatest public schools, Holly springs truly is a place for families. It was also named the second safest city in the state, making it an increasingly popular place to live and work.
Holly Springs High School, several middle schools, and quite a few elementary schools are located within walking distance of large subdivisions. Work in Raleigh is only a 20-minute drive away, along with Holly Springs being close to Research Triangle Park as well with I-40 and Highway 55 nearby.
Holly Springs Towne Center includes a Target, Marshalls, Dicks Sporting Goods, and more. Activities for children include a skate park, the North Main Athletic Complex, and several different parks to explore. Located nearby is 12 Oaks, a master-planned, golf-course community with two separate pools and a clubhouse.
