Transcript of the Wendell Falls Amenity Style Episode
Hey everyone it’s Kendra and I’m over at the Wendell Falls community today to show you guys some of the incredible amenities they have to offer.
Located in the heart of the community, the Farmhouse is home to Grounds Café, which is situated right at the front of the building. Whether you want a cup of coffee in the morning, or a pint of beer at night – Grounds Café has it all. On Fridays, they even set up live music on the back porch for your family to enjoy.
As you can see, a common area with room to work sits across from the café, along with a fitness area downstairs in order to get a quick workout in before heading to the pool.
Walking outside, you’ll be blown away by what Wendell Falls has to offer. Starting with a pool that has both adult and kid-friendly areas, you can find everything that you may need to keep your family entertained.
Behind the pool, you can see the playground that backs up to Lake Pavilion, where there’s a lakeside pier and overlook. In front of the Farmhouse sits the Tobacco Barn, which epitomizes the sense of the word community. On the festival lawn, gatherings take place that include wine tastings, farmer’s markets, concerts, and movies on the lawn.
Named as the Falls & Rocky Falls Park, this Wendell community has a waterfall that features a picnic area, an overlook, and a climbing structure. As I just mentioned, Wendell Falls also has an extensive trail system that winds through both nature and its neighborhoods.
Before I head out, I wanted to show you guys a few pictures of the houses over here at Wendell Falls and also tell you about a couple more amenities that are going to be added to the community in the near future.
Wake County Park and Tall Tale Park are both planned that will feature 125 acres of streams, trails and more. Another one called Shindig Park is set to open at any time. Featuring cornhole boards and a gas firepit, Shindig Park will be the perfect place for your family to gather. Next year, Three Points Park will be opening with seating areas, another playground, and public fields for plenty of activities.
If you don’t go visit Wendell Falls, you’re truly missing out.
