Creekside at Bethpage, AV Homes, Inc.’s new 55-plus lifestyle community located in the popular Brier Creek area, has announced the appointment of Gloria Caracciolo as Community Manager and Meredith Le Vind as Lifestyle Director. Seasoned professionals with great experience in their respective roles, Caracciolo and Le Vind will serve the active adult community and its homeowners well.“We could not be happier to have Gloria and Meredith on our Creekside at Bethpage team,” said Marie Lorimer, Vice President of Marketing for AV Homes’ Carolinas Division. “This is a special community that offers much more than just well-built homes. It offers desirable amenities, a social calendar chock-full of interesting activities and fun events, and an HOA committed to serving its residents’ needs completely.”

Gloria Caracciolo, Community Manager

As Creekside at Bethpage Community Manager, Caracciolo will provide community management and effective customer service to all residents. She will also manage the Creekside at Bethpage Hemingway Hall recreation center, which is set to open in mid-October with an array of resort-style amenities.

“It’s a privilege to have Gloria manage our Creekside at Bethpage community,” said Lorimer. “She is a wealth of knowledge and will prove to be a tremendous asset to our homeowners as this community grows and prospers.”

A former IT professional, Caracciolo made the successful shift into community management in 2003. She has significant experience managing communities and developments of all sizes, quite literally from the ground up. Her career started with the management of the Victory Lakes “family active” community development in Bristow, Va. and then led her to serve as a portfolio manager for numerous condos and townhomes.  Upon arriving in the South, Caracciolo transitioned back to community management and oversaw the exclusive Governors Club in Chapel Hill as well as a new multi-use building with retail, commercial, and residential tenants in downtown Raleigh,

Caracciolo received a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She is a Certified Manager of Community Associations and has received the designation of Association Management Specialist. She has two adult daughters and a grandson. In her free time, she enjoys working out, watching and playing sports, especially basketball, and is very active in her church.

“Creekside at Bethpage offers a wide range of ranch style homes, activities, and amenities that our residents enjoy to the fullest,” said Caracciolo. “This community is sought after for the awesome lifestyle it provides for active adults. I look forward to working with my team and the residents to create a neighborhood that provides fun, festivities, and lots of opportunities to fellowship with one another.”

Meredith Le Vind, Lifestyle Director

Le Vind joins Creekside at Bethpage with more than 10 years of experience in lifestyle and recreation management. As Lifestyle Director, she will plan and implement activities, events, and excursions for homeowners and oversee the creation of new social clubs.

“I like to say that I’m a cruise director without the water, of course,” said Le Vind. “I truly enjoy planning daily and weekly activities to get our Creekside at Bethpage residents out of their homes and interacting with each other. This is the time in their lives to really live it up and have fun—I’m glad I get to be a part of their new adventure.”

Le Vind has worked in a variety of residential settings including the Brier Creek and Hope Valley Country Clubs, senior and assisted living communities and other Triangle area active adult neighborhood community developments. She has planned and coordinated events of all types, managed activities programs for young children and seniors alike, and overseen recreation staff and volunteers.

“Meredith has tremendous experience in creating and coordinating activities and events for people with all interests. Her creative vision for the clubs and social engagements we can introduce in the community will truly impress our homeowners,” adds Lorimer.

Le Vind earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports & Recreation Management and Therapeutic Recreation from Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, N.H. She is a National Certified Activity Director and is a licensed North Carolina Certified Assisted Living Administrator. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, running half marathons, and watching movies and Broadway shows.
